As most of you will be aware, Mystic Charms stopped providing ecommerce website's to members at the end of September, this is so that they can concentrate on building up the business of existing members.

But after a chat with Julie we have decided that I can carry on providing ecommerce website's to members who need them on an "un official" basis - these website's will NOT be covered by the Mystic Charms website support that Micheal offers. I will of course provide support for any website that I build.

The price for these website's is an amazing £149.00 and includes 12 months hosting and a domain name registration. Every 12 months there will be a small fee of £49 to renew the domain and the hosting which is payable to Mystic Charms.

Would this be suitable for my trade site then - ie I can still upload my own items but this time for trade? Im looking for a site to do this -would this suit?

I'm not quite sure what you mean - do you mean you want another website for bulk orders with different prices?

yes - you can use one of these site's for this, you can restrict orders to minimum quantities or charge a membership fee to view prices and order... anything is possible with zencart!

thats exactly what I mean - so I will put that on my xmas list

is there any way I can add a section to my cart now, that traders have to have a password to see stock or similar so I can run the two on one site? just wondering..

There are a couple of systems available depending on what you want...

You can set the site so that everyone has to log in to see prices - good for wholesale but not so good for retail.

You can setup a group membership system so that you can have one set of prices for group "A" and another set for group "B" members - you will need to assign members to the wholesale group and they would need to be logged in to see their prices.

I would be interested in this second option ref a and b members - what would I need to action this please?

I have a domain http://www.wiccandivinity.com, that I was going to do as a copy of ebay prostore but have changed my mind and would like to have another site like this one. Could this be done since the domain is parked with prostore? Actually, I'm not even sure of the server, one of those things....
How difficult would it be to keep up if it's not going to be an extension of MC like the naturecraft site? Is the cost the same? Would you advise me to stay within the U.s.? Please share your thoughts

can we copy and move our logos into another zencart - or add different words to the logo ourselves? As I want my websites all to have the same logo but different wording..

or do we have to be a pc whizzkid to do that too
